Round-leaved pyrola flowers, Emmett County, MI, July 2010
Pyrola have now been placed in the heath family; they were in the former Pyrolaceae. All have similar flowers. The leaves of this species are rounder and overall, the plant is taller, sometimes 18 inches tall. Flowers may be white or pink.
